Provided that the Senate passes a reconciliation of the House Health Care bill that President Obama signed today, the entire bill does not take effect until 2014. What are the provisions that may affect your health care coverage now? This link provides a pretty good summary of the immediate effects. The most disappointing perhaps is that pre-existing conditions for adults are not required to be covered by health insurance companies until 2014.
