So you are thinking about a camping trip, but you are smart enough to know that it might just be a lark and you don’t want to be stuck with thousands of dollars of camping gear that you may use only once or twice. That was the position I found myself in when I was planning a 2500 mile motorcycle camping trip this summer. I wanted a tent big enough for myself AND my gear so that on a rainy night I wouldn’t have to leave my gear outside. It also needed to pack small enough to fit on the back of a motorcycle.
